The twelve gangs

After researching into the twelve labours i have decided on the names of the gangs and some of the details of the gangs

1st gang - The Nemea Lions - I chose this name because of the first labour killing the nemean lion also the first labour has influenced me to name the city the screenplay is based in nemea hence the gang name the Nemea Lions.

The leader of The Nemea Lions is called Leo, i picked the name Leo because it is the fifth zodiac sign and its symbol is the lion. Leo resembles a Lion, he is big built, has a mane of blonde hair and a beard.

Heracles will kill Leo by using a piece of wood to beat him then choke the last bit of life out of him, i decided on this because it is similar to how Heracles kills the Nemean lion.

2nd gang - The Hydras - This gang's name came from the second labour Killing the Lernaean Hydra

3rd gang - The Ceryneians - I chose this name because the hind in the third labour is called the Ceryneian hind.

4th gang - Wild Boars - This name comes from the fourth labour capturing the Erymanthian boar.

5th gang - Alpheus Boyz - I picked this name because in the fifth labour Heracles cleans the Augean stables by rerouting the rivers Alpheus and Peneus so that the water runs into the stables and washes away all the filth

6th gang - Stymphalian Kings -  This name was chosen because in the sixth labour the birds Heracles is sent to kill are called the Stymphalian birds

7th gang - The Cretan Bulls - This name comes from the seventh labour Capturing the Cretan bull

8th gang -  Satans Steads - I decided on this name because in the eighth labour there are four monsterous horses and in religion satan is depicted as evil and monsterous hence the name Satans steads

9th gang  The Amazons - I ended up choosing this name because in the ninth labour Heracles has to obtain Hippolyta's girdle and Hippolyta was the queen of the Amazons.

10th gang -  The Hell Hounds - I picked this name because in the tenth labour Heracles has to capture the cattle of the monster Geryon but before Heracles can kill Geryon  he is comfronted by a two headed hound and ends up having to kill it.

11th gang - The Titans - This name comes from the eleventh labour where Heracles has to steal the apples of the Hesperides. To get the apples Heracles has to trick the Titan Atlas into picking the apples for him

12th gang - Cerberus - The name Cerberus comes from the twelfth and final labour in which Heracles has to capture the multi-headed hound Cerberus.

The leader of Cerberus is Hera a cold hearted woman with one thing on her mind... Money. Hera is named after the goddess Hera who turned Heracles insane which resulted in him killing his family which is why he had to complete the labours.
